small museum w very contemporany art selection, a few religious settings and some modern art. the temporary exposition will make you think and I saw people expressing emotions.

Again, free access with Swiss Travel Pass to not just collections but also exhibitions. Gallery is located on 4th floor. Free lockers and shower facilities as well. Conveniently located across the train station.
CHF 15/adult. The art museum occupies one floor, not the whole building as I expected. There were 3 exhibitions when we visited it. The museum is well organized, well-lit, spacious. They provide free audio guides. There are free lockers to put your clothes and bags before entering the museum. A nice experience overall, I would not mind visiting it again.
Finally visited the Kunst museum in Luzern, located in the impressive Jean Nouvel cultural center building.
Nice and instructive exhibition about David Hockney at the moment of the visit, as well as an interesting selection of the museum collection. Warning : the building is grand but the space devoted to the museum is pretty modest in comparison. I would estimate the time visit to 2 hours.
Great landmark in Lucern. Contrast with Nature all around would be the point to look the building.
The Kunstmuseum Luzern and its reception and cloakroom are located on the fourth floor of the building. There are elevators. With a student ID, the cost of my entrance ticket was 6 CHF during the David Hockney exhibition.
At the start of the gallery, there is a QR code that you can scan to access the webpage with the free audio guide (which came in English and German, with the script). I really enjoyed listening to the audio guide. There were some pieces of information which were repeated, however this would be useful for people who prefer to listen to explanations on specific pieces of work rather than everything.
The rooms within the gallery were numbered, which was very helpful for navigating between the rooms.
In all, I really enjoyed my experience here.
Loved this museum. The lady at the ticketing is just so adorable! I was in Lucerne for a day only, she guided me and gave me some tips of places to visit in Lucern, was so kind. Thank you again lovely lady!
And the museum is amazing, loved the art exposed there. So rich and diverse.
